Absolwent Instytutu Psychologii Stosowanej UJ (studia magisterskie) i Instytutu Psychologii UJ (doktorat). W trakcie studiów odbył staże badawcze w Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences w Lipsku, Donders Institute for Brain Cognition and Behavior w Nijmegen i Central European University w Budapeszcie.
Po doktoracie pracował na stażach podoktorskich na Monash University w Melbourne w grupie prof. Jakoba Hohwy'ego (Cognition and Philosophy Lab) w projekcie dotyczącym teorii kodowania predykcyjnego i świadomości, na Central European University w Budapeszcie i Wiedniu w grupie profesorów Guenther'a Knoblich'a i Natalie Sebanz (Social Mind and Body group) badając reprezentację siebie i innych podczas współpracy między ludźmi, oraz na Italian Institute of Technology w Genui w grupie prof. Agnieszki Wykowskiej (Social Cognition in Human-Robot Interaction) badając neuropoznawcze mechanizmy interakcji pomiędzy człowiekiem i robotem.

A graduate of the Institute of Applied Psychology at Jagiellonian University (MA) and the Institute of Psychology at Jagiellonian University (PhD). During his studies, he completed research internships at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behavior in Nijmegen, and Central European University in Budapest.
After completing his PhD, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University in Melbourne in Professor Jakob Hohwy’s group (Cognition and Philosophy Lab), on a project concerning predictive coding theory and consciousness; at Central European University in Budapest and Vienna in the group of Professors Günther Knoblich and Natalie Sebanz (Social Mind and Body group), studying self–other representation during human cooperation; and at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa in Professor Agnieszka Wykowska’s group (Social Cognition in Human-Robot Interaction), investigating the neurocognitive mechanisms of human–robot interaction.

Moje główne zainteresowania naukowe dotyczą tematyki psychologii i neuronauki poznawczej, społecznej i obliczeniowej. W ich ramach prowadzę badania dotyczące przede wszystkim następujących tematów:

• Ja, tożsamość i reprezentacja siebie (self-representation), szczególnie w kontekście nowych technologii
• Współdziałanie między ludźmi (joint action)
• Interakcja człowiek-robot i człowiek-AI
• Metodologia i analiza danych

W badaniach wykorzystuję szereg metod badawczych z psychologii (przede wszystkim eksperymentalnej), neuronauki (EEG, fMRI), robotyki, oraz uczenia maszynowego i nauki o danych.

My main scientific interests lie in the fields of cognitive, social, and computational neuroscience and psychology. Within these areas, I conduct research primarily on the following topics:

• The self, identity, and self-representation, particularly in the context of new technologies
• Joint action and human cooperation
• Human–robot and human–AI interaction
• Methodology and data analysis

In my work, I use a range of research methods drawn from psychology (primarily experimental), neuroscience (EEG, fMRI), robotics, as well as machine learning and data science.
