Professor  Bernadetta Izydorczyk, the Director of the Institute of Applied Psychology, Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland. Schi  is a clinical psychologist  (certiefied specialist ), certiefied psychotherapist and supervisor of psychotherapy, therapist and psychodrama trainer of Psychodrama Institute For Europe. She is an experienced lecturer in clinical psychology and psychotherapy and Co-founder of the Center for Treatment of Neuroses and Eating Disorders in Poland. She is a National Consultant of Clinical Psychology in Poland and the member of the Commission of Psychological Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Her research interests are related to clinical psychology, psychotherapy of mental disorders (eating disorders in adults and adolescent children, disorders of the body image, personality disorders, neurotic disorders, mental disorders in workers). She is a reviewer of articles on clinical psychology and psychotherapy in scientific Polish and European journals. She participated actively in scientific meetings and conferences, reading plenary and session papers, and displaying posters at 90  international and  national conferences and she has published 1 monographs, 90 articles in specialized scientific journals and have contributed 27 book chapters. 

Konrad Banicki is a psychologist and a philosopher with a strictly interdisciplinary interests lying at the area between psychology, philosophy, psychotherapy and psychiatry. It includes, more particularly, personality (psycho)pathology, positive psychology, philosophy of psychiatry as well as the variety of aspects of mindfulness meditation. Konrad Banicki is also a convenor of an international research network: Understanding Personality Disorders (The Collaborating Centre for Values-based Practice in Health and Social Care, St Catherine’s College, Oxford).

Małgorzata Kuleta, Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, assistant professor, psychotherapist, crisis intervention counselor, supervisor. Dr. Kuleta's clinical and research interests are in the area of trauma, crisis analysis, and crisis intervention and treatment. Dr. Kuleta specifically focuses on the analysis of identity and core conflict in personal narrative as used in short-and-long-term psycho-dynamic therapy.

Piotr Passowicz, Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, assistant professor, individual and group therapist, crisis intervention counselor, coach. Dr. Passowicz' clinical and research interests are in the area of social influence and social impact psychology oriented towards the development of inter-personal and intra-personal skills (interpersonal training). His other interests are in the community health and individual and system-based, change-oriented crisis intervention. 

.Clinical psychologist (certified specialist II˚), certified psychotherapist European Association For Psychotherapy with qualifications in child and adolescent psychotherapy, Specialist in Community Therapy. She is a Regional Consultant of Clinical Psychology in Silesia, Poland. She is also a member of the State Examination Commission in clinical psychology, The Medical Examination Centre, Łódź, Poland. She has received years of clinical training in clinical psychology, and psychotherapy (including Systemic Approach Therapy, Integrative Psychotherapy, Play Therapy). Dr Sitnik-Warchulska focuses on biopsychosocial and developmental approaches in psychological diagnosis and treatment. She has over 20 years of diagnosis and psychotherapy experience, working with children, adolescents, and families. Her research interests are related to psychopathology, clinical child and adolescent psychology, therapeutic relations and mental problems in children and adolescents (including self-destructive behaviour, aggression, attachment disorders, ADHD, conjugated developmental disorders), and family factors associated with children's mental health. She is involved in national and international research projects, referring to the functioning of children with emotional and behavioural disorders, and the process of a therapeutic relationship. Her publications are indexed in ERIH, EMBASE, JCR, IC etc.

Piotr Słowik, Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, assistant professor, sociologist. Dr. Słowik's research interests focus on clinical psychology, psychopathology, and health psychology. He is currently involved in research on psychological and social resources that promote healthy functioning and decrease the effects of stress in crisis situations. He is also a therapist, crisis counselor and interpersonal coach

All members of the group hold numerous professional certifications and licenses in individual therapy, group therapy, psychodrama and crisis intervention counseling.   

Pracownicy Zakładu z racji łączenia kompetencji nauczycieli akademickich z wiedzą, umiejętnościami i wieloletnim doświadczeniem psychologów praktyków, poświadczonymi certyfikatami, prowadzą zajęcia  składające się na podstawy praktyczne tożsamości zawodowej przyszłych absolwentów psychologii o specjalności psychologia stosowana, neuropsychologia i neurokognitywistyka. Są to treningi interpersonalne i intrapersonalne, zajęcia z psychologii kontaktu i komunikacji interpersonalnej, umożliwiające poprzez doświadczenie własne integrację wiedzy z rozwijaniem tzw. kompetencji miękkich.  Na latach starszych zdobywanie wiedzy i budowanie warsztatu przyszłego psychologa praktyka odbywa się też na zajęciach z zakresu psychopatologii jednostki, wybranych zagadnień psychopatologii związanej z wiekiem, teorii i metod oddziaływania w psychologii, metod badania funkcji intelektualnych, oraz modułach specjalizacyjnych; psycholog w szpitalu psychiatrycznym, model integracyjny w psychoterapii. Zakład oferuje również wykład monograficzny prowadzony w języku angielskim z zakresu psychopatologii. Wykład ten jest przeznaczony dla studentów programu Erasmus i polskich studentów chcących zapoznać się z fachową terminologią angielską. Z racji kompetencji i doświadczeń praktycznych kierownictwo i większość zajęć na studiach podyplomowych: „Kryzysy psychologiczne i interwencja kryzysowa” objętych jest przez  pracowników Zakładu
